Description

Your Venice for Kids Tour begins in the heart of the city, the magnificent St. Mark’s Square. Here, you’ll meet your private, kid-friendly guide who immediately sets the stage for an adventure. We start at St. Mark’s Basilica, bypassing the long lines to admire the sea of gold mosaics. Your guide will point out hidden animals and heroic figures in the artwork, turning a cathedral visit into a captivating treasure hunt.

Next in your Venice for Kids Tour, we step into the Doge’s Palace, the historic seat of Venetian power. As you wander through the Great Council Chamber and the lavish apartments, your children will learn about the “Serenissima” rulers, their secret councils, and how life was lived in a city built on water. The excitement peaks as we head toward the Bridge of Sighs and the palace prisons—a favorite for kids fascinated by the darker side of history!

To round off your Venetian immersion, we visit a Glass-Blowing Factory. Here, the heat of the furnace and the skill of the Master Glassblower will leave the whole family spellbound as a glowing blob of glass is sculpted into a delicate vase or animal in seconds. For the ultimate finale, you can choose to add an optional Private Gondola Ride, allowing your family to glide through the canals and see the city from the most magical perspective of all.
